Sequoia was founded in 1895 in Redwood City, and was the first high school in San Mateo County. Standing (L-R): Roy Peterson, Roy Cloud, Hjallmar Holmquist. Sitting: Sophie Kobelt, Maude Beeson, Ethel Fox. Roy Cloud later married Sophie Kobelt, and also became the county Superintendent of Schools. | ||
