Caption:   Imporsani's Saloon interior (1905). Charles Imporsani (behind bar) took over the Crystal Palace Saloon on Hamilton Street in 1897. In 1906, he constructed a bowling alley behind the saloon. Imporsani was elected the first treasurer of the Saloonkeepers Association in 1901.
