Caption:   Industry: South San Francisco Union Stockyard's 1944 aucation of calvary horses. 1908-1959. They were affiliated with Western Meat Co. and Swift & Co. Trading companies located at the stockyards: California Livestock Commission from 1928-1931, Washburn & Condon from 1927-1959, the Southwest Commission from 1928-1958, and the Sevier-Benson Co. from 1927-1939.
