Caption:   Baptist Church exterior (1976). A Baptist congregation organized in Redwood City in 1868, and purchased land to built a church in the Eastern Addition subdivision. The church building was dedicated in 1874. After 1930, the congregation moved to a different location, and since then the building has been used by various religious groups for services. An example of the Early Gothic Revival Style, the church building is still standing at 402 Heller Street.
