Caption:   Beeson's blacksmith and wagon shop (1895). Edward and Willis Beeson started a blacksmith and wagon repair shop in 1875. The shop was located at Heller and Mound Streets, near Five Points. In the late 1880's, the brothers also began selling and repairing mowing equipment and farm machinery. In 1907, Willis Beeson retired and sold the business to Victor Mitchell, who ran it until the early 1920's. Shown in this photograph are the Beeson brothers and other employees in front of the shop buildings. Willis is second from right and Edward is at far right.
