Caption:   Bement Family in front of their home (c.1890). George Bement was an early resident of Redwood City and worked as a farmer and stockman. His son, William, was born in Redwood City in 1862, and eventually became a blacksmith. William had a house built on Arguello Street in the late 1880's. He died in the house in1909.
