Caption:   Bank of America, established in 1904, opened first branch in South San Francisco as Bank of Italy, 1927. In 1931, it became Bank of America, local branch, located at 262 Grand Avenue; from 1971-1984 it was located at 500 Linden Avenue; in 1984 it moved to present location at 955 El Camino Real.
