The company produced shims and oil seals for automobiles and airplanes. Heavily involved in World War II industrial production, the company was at one time the largest employer in Redwood City with over 450 employees. The company merged with Federal-Mogul Bower of Detroit in 1956, and closed in 1971. The plant occupied a site on Broadway, between Chestnut Street and Woodside Road.
