Caption:   San Mateo County courthouse buildings (c.1900). The second courthouse, called "The Justice Courthouse" was completed in 1882 at a cost of $15,000. It was a two-story building which measured 52' by 56'. The first courthouse building can be seen at right. The courthouse block is located between Broadway, Hamilton, Marshall, and Winslow Streets in Redwood City, the county seat of San Mateo County.
