Caption: | San Mateo County courthouse building (c.1890). The second courthouse, called "The Justice Courthouse" was completed in 1882. It was a two-story building, with a statue of Lady Justice erected over the front entrance. The building was torn down after it was badly damaged in the 1906 earthquake. The courthouse block is located between Broadway, Hamilton, Marshall, and Winslow Streets in Redwood City, the county seat of San Mateo County. | ||
