Caption:   Redwood City Tribune press room (1945). The Redwood City Tribune newspaper was located at the corner of California and Winklebleck Streets. The newspaper was founded in 1923 and continued in business until 1979, when it merged with the Palo Alto Times. Shown in this photograph are reporters and press operators reviewing the "Extra" issue announcing end of World War II.
