Caption: | Homes damaged by earthquake (1906). Damage in Redwood City from the 1906 earthquake was worse for brick buildings than those constructed from wood. Although there was extensive damage in downtown, there were no deaths and only minor injuries. The homes in this photograph were located on the west side of El Camino, between James Street and Jefferson Avenue. | ||
