Caption:   Robinson Family home on James Street (1907). James Robinson, son of California history writer Alfred Robinson, married Carrie Hawes, daughter of California legislator Horace Hawes, in 1881. They built a home on James Street, where the Sequoia High School parking lot is now located. The home burned in a fire in 1910 and was not rebuilt.
