Caption: | Farm Hill subdivision after construction (1958). The Farm Hill subdivision was developed by Andres Oddstad in the western hills of Redwood City from 1955 to 1957. Three- and four-bedroom houses in the area first sold for $17,000 to $25,000. During the late 1960's, concerns arose regarding mudslides in the development area. Two houses were moved prior to additional grading and stabilizing of the hillside. Shown in this photograph is an aerial view of the subdivison after the completion of homes and Roy Cloud School. The Emerald Hills area can be seen in the background. | ||
