Caption: | Redwood City Grammar School and Sequoia High School buildings (c.1915). Redwood City Grammar School opened in 1895, and was located on Broadway across the street from the county courthouse. The first two floors housed over 300 elementary school students, and Sequoia High School students occupied the third floor until a separate high school building was finished in 1904. The high school building was located in the next block, and is shown here to the left of the photograph. The Grammar School building was torn down in 1927. | ||
