Caption:   El Camino and Jefferson Avenue intersection (undated). Shown in this photograph is a view of El Camino, looking north at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue. The neon sign pointing west to Emerald Lake was erected in 1929, just after the Emerald Hills area had been subdivided. Lower Emerald Lake was a popular swimming place.
