Caption:   Businesses on Broadway (1903). Shown in this photograph are the businesses that were located on the north side of Broadway, between Main and Webster (now Jefferson) Streets. The Capitol Hotel, originally called the Price Hotel when it was opened in 1890, can be seen at center. The Capitol Hotel was severly damaged during the 1906 earthquake, and was torn down soon afterwards.
