Caption: | First Congregational Church exterior (c.1870). The original First Congregational Church building was dedicated in 1864 in the Diller's Island area of Redwood City. The building measured 30 feet by 50 feet. The church originally faced Webster St., but in 1872, the building was remodelled and turned to face East Jefferson St. Diller's Bridge, shown in the foreground of the photograph, was built in 1866 and connected the Diller's Island area with downtown. | ||
