Caption: | First Congregational Church & Parsonage buildings (1895). The original First Congregational Church building was dedicated in 1864 in the Diller's Island area of Redwood City. The building measured 30 feet by 50 feet. The church originally faced Webster Street (now Middlefield Road), but in 1872, the building was remodelled and turned to face East Jefferson Street (now Jefferson Avenue). A parsonage was constructed between the church building and the railroad tracks on East Jefferson in 1891. | ||
