Caption:   International Order of Odd Fellows Plot in Union Cemetery (c.1915). Union Cemetery was founded in 1859 on Woodside Road in Redwood City. Burial rights were sold for single plots, family plots, and members of various fraternal organizations. Shown here is the entrance to the I.O.O.F. plot, located at the back of the cemetery. The 6.4 acre site contains over 2,000 burials, the last of which took place in 1963. The cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
