Caption:   James Van Court with music students (undated). James Van Court was a Redwood City photographer and music teacher. He opened his photo studio on Main Street in 1884. He died in 1923 and is buried in Union Cemetery. Van Court is shown is this photograph with music students Flossie Stafford and George Christ.
