| Caption: | Sequoia High School buses parked at rear of school building (1947). Sequoia High School was founded in Redwood City in 1895. The school was the first high school in San Mateo County. Classes were held on the third floor of the Grammar School until a separate high school building was constructed on Broadway in 1904. In 1924, the students moved to the current high school campus at El Camino and Brewster. | ||
