Caption: | Sequoia High School courtyard and main building (1990). Cement magnate William Dingee purchased the property where Sequoia High School now stands from William Hebbard in 1904. He built a beautiful home and made many improvements to the landscaping of the estate. The Dingee home was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake, and Dingee was forced to sell the property. Shown in this photograph are the concrete curbs from the estate that are still part of the Sequoia campus. Sequoia is located at El Camino and Brewster. | ||
