Caption:   Interior of Fox Theater (1979). The Fox Theater was originally called The Sequoia Theater, and first opened in Redwood City in 1917. It was renamed the Fox Theater in 1950. The Fox Theater building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. This photograph was taken by Redwood City Tribune photographer Gene Tupper.
