Caption: | National Magnesia plant (c.1931). National Magnesia constructed a plant on Middlefield Road, south of Charter Street in 1912. The company manufactured industrial insulation. Johns-Manville Products Corporation took over operations in 1928, and production was expanded to include roofing materials. Johns-Manville ran the plant until 1955 when operations were moved to Stockton. | ||
