Caption: | Students outside Goodwin Junior High School (1958). Goodwin Junior High School opened in the fall of 1951, and was first named for its location on Goodwin Avenue. The school was renamed Kennedy Middle School in 1964 for President John F. Kennedy. A student designed and constructed a memorial to Kennedy that was installed by the flag pole in 1965. | ||
