Caption:   McKinley School playground (1958). To help house the increase in the student population in the years after World War I, the Redwood City School District constructed McKinley Junior High School. The school opened in January of 1928, and is still in operation as a junior high school. Shown in this photograph is the school yard in back of the school. McKinley is located at 400 Duane Street.
