Caption:   Sequoia High School marching band (1934). Sequoia High School was founded in Redwood City in 1895, and was the first high school in San Mateo County. In 1924, students moved to the present-day campus located at El Camino and Brewster. Shown in this photograph is the marching band of 1934 practicing on the football field.
