Located in the 200 blocks of East Grand Ave from 1891-1932. A meatpacking plant that produced beef, pork, and mutton products. One of the major stockholders was Gustavus Swift, and the company became Swift & Company from 1932-1968. It was also affiliated with South San Francisco Union Stockyards. | ||
