Caption: | Redwood City Grammar School building exterior (c.1915). Redwood City Grammar School opened in 1895, and was located on Braodway across the street from the San Mateo County courthouse. The building was designed by Martens & Coffey of San Francisco, and built at a cost of $23,000. The first two floors housed over 300 elementary school students, and Sequoia High School students occupied the third floor. The building was torn down in 1927. | ||
