Caption:   Bank of South San Francisco, established 1905 by P N Lilenthal, with Gustave Swift and Mr. Morris as investors. In 1917, built Bank and Metropolitan Hall at 301 Linden and operated there until 1955. From 1955 it was purchased by Crocker Bank and operated until 1975 when it moved to 333 Linden. From 1975 to 1985, it was the site of Magna Carta University. In 1986, it was purchased and operated by Wells Fargo Bank and operated until 1991. In 1991, Group 4 Architecture Research and Planning began operations at this location.
