Caption:   Boulevard Grocery started in 1928 at Airport Boulevard. Emilio Cortesi purchased the grocery in 1946 and operated it until 1967. The store is now located at the corner of Oyster Point Boulevard and Airport Boulevard and has changed its name to Jail House Deli. Emilio Cortesi was elected as councilman in 1948 and became the Mayor of the South San Francisco in 1952.
