Caption:   California Water Service Company (also once known as the South San Francisco Water Company Pumping Station), at Chestnut and Commercial Avenues since the early 1900's. From 1940 -1946, it operated at 230 Miller Avenue; from 1946 -1953 at 314 Linden Avenue; from 1954-1982 at 230 Miller Avenue; finally moving to 80 Chestnut Avenue.
