Caption:   South City Meat Market, 1940. 1920-26 called Rosspori's Meat Market at 249 Grand Avenue. From 1927-1940 it was known as South City Meat Market and was located at 321 Grand Avenue. From 1940-1955, it was owned by Adolph Sani and Umberto "Lungo" Lucchesi. Mr. Sani was a City Councilman 1946-1954 and was Mayor in 1950.
