Caption:   South San Francisco General Hospital. 1905-1915. Operated at location of Grand and Spruce Avenues by Drs. Harry and Bradley Plymire. Upon death of Dr. Harry Plymire in 1915, Dr. Frank Steven Dolley bought medical practice and had house moved to 519 Grand Avenue in 1915, so that he could have new hospital building built on the property. The house was turned into a mens' industrial club at that time, and in future years was a rooming house, private residences, and in the mid 1990's was willed to the South San Francisco Historical Society by its last owners, Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Schwarz.
