Caption:   Industry: Marine Magnesium Corporation. Beginning in 1927, the company produced marine chemicals. In 1933 it was named Marine Magnesium Products Co. and manufactured milk and magnesia. In 1943 the company was bought by Merck & Co., a research-driven pharmaceutical products and services company. It was located on East Grand Ave. and moved to 330 Pt. San Bruno Ave. in 1982.
