Caption:   Industry: Merck and Co., Inc., plant photo, date unknown. Merck & Co. Inc., (Merck Chemical Manufacturing Division) was a research driven pharmaceutical products and services company. In 1943, it bought Marine Magnesium Corporation (manufacturers of Milk of Magnesia). It was located at 500 East Grand Ave. In 1982 it moved to 330 Pt. San Bruno Ave.
