Caption: | Hull Bros. Hardware Store interior (1922). In 1904, brothers Asa and Guy Hull opened the Hull Brothers Hardware Store in 1904. The store, located in the bottom floor of the Wahl Building at the end of Broadway, carried a full line of housewares, oil, paint, and glassware. The store was moved and expanded in 1923, and appliances were added to the inventory. When the store closed in 1978, it was the oldest family-owned business in Redwood City. Shown in this photograph are (left to right): Clarence Choate, Floyd Smith, John Lanphear, and Guy Hull. | ||
